I recently discovered an amazing app. For anyone looking to get serious about a dopamine detox and limiting social media, you have to check out the app Imprint. It’s absolutely fantastic!
Anyway, through the Imprint app, one of the suggested readings was The Black Swan. Essentially it is about the reasons why we fail to predict some of the biggest and sometimes most catestrophic events in history.
One of the coolest concepts in this piece that I forget to mention in the podcast was how it seems at the very moment we are most comfortable is when we are the most likely to be suprised.
Anyway, have a quick listen, I’m sure it will spark some questions.
